I have fitted it with the very latest 60w Hi-power Led full spectrum Grow bulb. It uses a mix of 660nm blue & 460nm red, powerful Epistar led's which are perfect for vegging & flowering. Led lights give you the best gram-per-watt of electricity used. Most of this electricity is turned into light and not heat, as opposed to any other type of lighting.
Led's are particularly desirable as heat can be a real issue to the indoor grower. The front intake fan is feeding cool air in, low down, and the rear outlet fan is removing warm air from high above. Both are running at the same speed and are extremely quiet. The front fan has red led's which is very cool looking. The box runs very cool and quiet and I have now fitted a dust cover inside of the front fan. All other pc components have been disabled ie. Usb 2 ports/card reader etc. The red led's on top of the box are working which looks real nice. Pics don't seam to show red colour very well but they are all red. The side window has been blacked out from the inside which looks great. Hard to show in the pics because of reflections.
All protective film has been kept but temporarily removed so I can make the box and take pics. I have fitted an illuminated digital thermometer inside the space behind the flip-open door at the front of the box, to save opening the side doors. I have made a real active carbon filter and added a 25mm deep layer of active carbon granules, as used inside a traditional hydroponic carbon filter. (I stripped one apart to see for myself). This helps absorb any smell coming from the outlet vent very well.It wont cure the smell completely but will certainly help. The fans and lights are switched on via the mains lead which is plugged into the timer if required. That way, the whole box will run in your absence automatically of course. You can remove both side panels for inspection in the normal manner, via the large thumb screws at the back FREE & COMPLETE BEGINNER START UP KIT....... I will include a free 24hour timer, so your lights & fans will run automatically. I have included 2 litres of Biobizz "lite", organic compost. (This compost has mild nutrients so as not to damage sensitive seedlings and cuttings). I have also impregnated the compost with a mix of "Great white & Root grow Mycorrhizal fungi" which attaches itself to your roots which breaks down nutrients and feeds them to your plant for you.
Please google Mycorrhizal fungi if you want to know more about it. I personally use a 2litre/rectangle Ice cream container which you can get full of Ice cream from Lidl for 89p. This make a great plant pot as it is low and long so that you do not eat-up the precious space inside the PC box.
You can also use the lid as a plant pot tray. I have included a 10ml bottle of each of the Biobizz.
Nutrient range to see you through a complete grow cycle from start to finish. Please visit the Biobizz website for their online nutrient schedule, but only use 1/3 of what they recommend as you will be keeping you plant quite small. X 10ml bottle of Biobizz Grow! X 10ml bottle of Biobizz Bloom. 1x 10ml bottle of Biobizz Topmax.
A graduated pipette for careful measuring of nutrient. A strip of aluminium tape for any future repairs or modifications. A few expanding coir pellets for the best possible start for your expensive seeds. That lot should see you through a complete grow.
This is the largest brand new PC box I could find. The pics do not do it justice. It will be completely scratch free and has all of the original factory packaging and printed cardboard box.
It looks like any other bare pc case box when being delivered by the courier service.. The inside grow space measurement is approximately 410mm length by 180mm width & 440mm high The outside measurements are approximately 490mm length by 250mm width by 530mm high.
Very cool & quiet when running. Extremely low wattage of electricity used. Please view my Youtube clips with pics at the end. The video demonstrates the PC box in action but the PC is always evolving for the better so may not be exactly the same as the model in the clip. I have tons of other grow room items for sale.
Please view my other listings. I cannot help any further once it has been delivered there. If you are unsure, please check with your countries appropriate governmental authorities. The item uses UK 240v ac and has a UK mains plug. I will not send any nutrients or compost internationally.
I deliver to EU countries only. This is a private listing. I always use a fully insured/tracked courier service that requires a signature so please follow the tracking details to make sure someone is home when the courier calls. I do not leave feedback unless requested. I would suggest that you get yourself one of the shorter varieties of Auto female chilli seeds that are available all over the UK.These tend to be very quick flowering and stay nice and compact with lots of chilli buds. Sometimes 6-8 weeks from start to finish. If raising Auto female plants from seed, you should adjust the timer to 20 hours on and 4 off to induce flowering.. If using non-auto flowering varieties, Tghey will require 18 hours of light for 2 weeks then adjust the timer to 12 on and 12 off when you want to induce flowering.
Day one, planting seeds in expanding cocoa pellets. You can grow 1 or 2 plants at a time. Add some luke warm water to the cocoa pellets and watch them expand. Poke a 10mm hole in the top of the cocoa.
Place the seed inside and cover back over. Place the cocoa pellet in a clear drinking glass. Cover the glass with a clear bag to prevent premature drying-out. Keep at 25-30c whilst germinating. Check daily for sprouting and don't allow the cocoa pellet to dry out When the seed sprouts, place it into the compost.
Only use tap water that has been standing for at least 24 hrs to De-chlorinate. The Chlorine in your water kills friendly bacteria & fungus in your compost. We don't want that to happen.
It's always best to water with water that is at room temperature to prevent shock. You should only give your plant enough water to last 3-4 days before you should water it again.
It should be allowed to dry a little to prvent constant dampness which can cause root rot no matter what stage the plant is at in its life. So this amount needed, you will have to gauge over time. It depends on heat/strain/size of plant etc so be mindful of this. Feeding Do not feed the sprouted seedling for 2 weeks as there is ample nutrients in the compost.
Mix any nutes with the water described above with the graduated eye-dropper/pipette provided. Weeks 2-4 Mix 1/2ml of Biobizz Grow and Bloom nutrients in 1 litre of water. (Total 1ml nutrients per litre).Weeks 4-5 Mix 1ml of each 3 nutrients to 1 litre of water Grow/Bloom? (Total of 3ml of nutrients per litre). Weeks 5-6 Mix 1ml Grow with 2ml of Bloom and 2Ml of Top Max. (Total of 5ml of nutrients per litre).
Weeks 7-8 Flush pot with 6 litres of plain water to flush out any nutrients. This will make your final product taste much nicer. At this stage your leaves should be every shade of horrific as all of the nutrients are sucked out of them by the plant and it is destined to visit plant Heaven. The feeding schedule is not set in stone, as different strains of plant behave differently.
This is why it is important to keep a diary or notes as to what you do. That way, you can go back and make improvements for next time.Biobizz compost and nutrients are 100% organic and do not require any PH down. So please dont try and adjust the ph.
I have made this complete system to help you the best way I know how. These methods are tried and tested to make your life easier ; I would visit the chili forums and Youtube to gain as much information as possible for your new hobby..
